Welcome to NCA C-TPAT Portal !

The National Coffee Association is very pleased to offer this innovative Internet portal to support US coffee industry participation in the Customs - Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program of the US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) department.

This cost-saving solution makes qualifying for C-TPAT compliance much more manageable! By joining this initiative, users will gain access to web tools that will help them facilitate on-going compliance with C-TPAT program requirements. US Importers will have an effective and efficient way to access their suppliers' information; Exporters will be able to maintain the necessary compliance data in one place for ALL their US customers, saving them untold time and expense providing the data on a one-by-one request basis.

NCA members and non-members are welcome and encouraged to subscribe to the NCA C-TPAT Portal.

Who the Portal is designed for:

If you are a U.S.-based Importer and your company is not yet C-TPAT certified, this tool will help you compile the necessary data about your suppliers that you need to gain certification. As we move forward, and the database becomes widely adopted, you will benefit from the information that other companies have already loaded into the Portal and the updates they continue to make. Furthermore, the system allows you show US Customs the means by which you plan to maintain the data-a strict requirement.

If you are a U.S.-based Importer and your company is already C-TPAT certified, this tool will help you in efficiently maintaining the information and documentation about your suppliers that you need in order to keep your C-TPAT certification, which is re-assesed annually. Tracking changes among numerous suppliers is time-consuming and expensive and yet it is a requirement of on-going C-TPAT certification; this tool allows you the benefit of an efficiently maintained, industry-centralized database for that information.

If you are an Exporter doing business with U.S.-based Importers, this tool will allow you to fill out C-TPAT-required information one time, in one standardized way, for use by all your U.S. customers looking to achieve or maintain C-TPAT compliance (provided they are participating in the NCA Portal.) Rather than dealing with many time-consuming requests from different companies, you can compile the data in this centralized location, where all your customers can access it at one time, and where you can easily maintain it as you make security changes and improvements at your operations.

NCA believes that industry-wide participation in C-TPAT, with the aid of this Portal, will better position the global coffee industry in the event of terrorist attack. The Portal will also result in overall cost savings to the industry by offering consolidated information on security practices of coffee supply chain companies.
